Anyone know about Luas ID?

I've been getting 30 Day Combi tickets with my Student TravelCard up until my last one expires at the end of this month. It provides excellent value/convenience etc and want to keep getting it at the Adult rate.

But I need Luas ID for the Luas obviously - anyone know what it is, how long it might take between applying and actually getting it and is there another ID required if I wanted to use the ticket on Dublin Bus?
