Warhawk: Omega Dawn now available

    When I logged into Warhawk earlier, I got prompted to let me know that omega dawn was available to buy. It's still downloading (144 MB), but it'll be done soon...

    Dropship goodness....

    It's a new Expansion pack on the PSN Store for sale for Warhawk.
    It offers new map(s?), new air Vehicles for transporting troops and ground vehicles and maybe other stuff too.

    hmm, I'd perhaps hold off - it really depends on what you like to do in Warhawk. The new dropships are only available on certain map setups, and they are aimed at big CTF or team deathmatch setups (24-32 players). I prefer smaller games 8-12, so the pack has been of little benefit to me.

    The new map (Omega factory) is pretty amazing however - huge! Great for dogfights.

    So the short answer - you can live without!
