Problems with video card

I have a dell dimension 8400 which I upgraded the video card with an nVidia GeForce 7900GT. However, when running games (TF2, Neverwinter 2), I have been getting crashes to blue screens and when games do run, there are artifacts on screen.

Any ideas how I can remedy the situation?

Do you have the six pin connected to the card?

And it's quite possible that if it is, the card isn't getting enough power from the psu.

I assume you've tried different drivers first?

    Thanks for the reply, HavoK.

The six pin is connected and I've the latest drivers. I have suspected the psu isn't up to powering the card though people on the dell forums haven't had problems with this card and the 8400. Would it be worth trying the omega drivers?
