Well it has been brilliant for me, I live and work along the route of the port tunnel. In the past it was a nightmare cycling to work with conveys of trucks rumbling along beside me heading to the M50 from the port.

Now my commute and the area I live in are vastly improved and much more pleasurable.

Not a whole lot. I work in the port and it still takes me the same amount of time to get in and out every day.

Living in London, I've no idea what you mean.

My apartment doesn't shake as trucks trundle by several times a day anymore. I also don't have to turn the TV up as loud.

Happy birthday dear Port Tunnel! Against all odds, it is still there - who would have guessed?
