Can anyone name the film?

I recently was watching darkstar and it reminded me of another film.

The film in question involved a spaceship where there was a group of
astronauts all alone in a spaceship that slowly went mad and killed
each other.

There were square type robots that looked after some sort of section
of the space craft that involved plants
over the course of time during the film the astronauts started
dying or getting killed until only one was left.

The robots were some sort of care takers and the last astronauts
accidentally drove on some sort of cart over one of the last robots and
damaged it and later tried to repair it.

The ending of the film was the last astronauts programming the
robots to look after the plants and solar lights and launched that section
of the space ship off to outer space and left himself to die.

The actor I remember was (maybe) the same dude that played the Hardy Boys in the 80's

of the film I am thinking of.

Cant remember the name of that, but I do remember the film. The memory came flooding back when I read your post.
I remember feeling very sad watching it as a kid for some reason, and I remember one of the little robots wandering around with a watering can. If I remember, I think two of the little robots were quite close and developed a relationship of some sort.

I hope someone knows the name of this (so I can be a nerd and buy it on ebay).

an interesting parallel to the events of the film, only one dome is known to have survived, and now rests in the Science Fiction Museum and Hall of Fame in Seattle, Washington
