The TV Guide on Sky is about 100 times better then Teletex which I presume you are talking about?.

You can set reminders on sky to tell you when things are on and its very simple to see whats on all channels...

The EPG is not available for added channels, only a very basic now & next.
I'm afraid you will have to rely on teletext or newspaper / magazine listings.

The EPG is not available on channels added to the Extra Channels function.

Use the TV3 listings. Practically the same.

They're damn close the same at prime time.

I'm afraid you'll need to stick with buying tv guides, or using the likes of tvtv.co.uk for listings.

Yup, virtually the same allright, especially as Granada (part of ITV) are now a majority shareholder in TV3. After March '08 when UK Freesat launches, the full EPG will be available on all the FTA channels. Not sure what rights issues will apply here in Ireland, but as with 'Freesat From Sky' a UK viewing card may be required.

Granada/ITV have actually been out for some time. Not that you would think it to look at the programming, mind...

There will be no viewing card required for the joint BBC/ITV venture.
