Hi, my bog standard hi fi system at home has a line out/auxiliary mode so you can connect your mp3 player to it easily using a jack. What I want to know is, since I need to start practicing mixing with my Numark D2 at home and I've no amp/speakers, is there a way to connect my D2 and mixer so I can hear it through the speakers on my sound system as well as my headphones, thus I can practice mixing. Would it be as simple as getting a jack lead with those red and white yokes at the other end, stickin that into the D2 and my line in/out/whatever it is on my hi-fi system?

    TANKS A MILL,

    Sian

Yes, get some phono's from unbalanced line outs on the back of D2 to stereo. How is the D2 working out??

    thanks lads,

Uncle bill, very early days to dispense a verdict on D2 as I only just got it (combination of collective foolery of Thomann, DHL and UPS, BUT ESPECIALLY UPS!!) and haven't been able to play with it much as I had to leave it in LImerick for a week. However it's a bit supermodelly in that it'svery good looking, light and compact. When I get a better idea if it has the brains to go with the beauty I'll let ya know.
