    Anyones opinions on this film?

Watched it the last day, was completely different to what I'd been expecting. Bizarre would be one way to describe it, but I really, really liked it. Music was brilliant, but again, not exactly matching the period of the film. Speaking of which, the time in which it was set really had no bearing on the story in the way I thought it would either, after the initial first few minutes, it could have been set in 20BC or 1850 for all it mattered.

Great film though. Guy Pearse is....well, he's just great. :D

Its actually one of my favorite films. Was recommended to me by Mr.Karl Hungus a few years ago, I had never heard of it before then. It is definitely very odd & original. The music is by Damon Albarn from Blur.

One of my favourite films of all time. I absolutly love it. The music is by Damon Albarn and Mychael Nyman, the soundtrack is well worth a purchase as infact is anything to do with the film. I have a nice framed poster of it hanging in my room.

I really enjoyed the film, but I think the setting was what had some of the charm for me, and in terms of it being set in another time, I wouldn't really agree. The theme of cannibalism is what ties it that period, in that the wagons being snowbound is based on the Donner party.
