Not sure if this is the best forum but couldnt really think where else.

Looking to buy a pair of the thick neoprene shorts (warm shorts) such as

    http://www.physioroom.com/product/skey_db858a35e41adf471419f88bbdc9486e/Vulkan_Warm_Pants_1.5mm_/2036/36127.html

Just recovering from groin op and was told these are good when starting back. Can't find them in the typical sports outlets, Champion, JJB, Lifestyle or even Boots. Don't want to have to wait until after Christmas by going online.

Would anyone on here have an idea of where I could get them in Dublin (southside)....

    Cheers.

I haven't come across that Brand before to be honest but if it is compression shorts you're looking for we do both 2XU and skins have a look at their websites and see if it's what you're looking for

    http://www.skins.net/default.aspx?m=12

    www.2XU.com

My understanding was that compression and heat go as two sperate things to get good compression you need the tights/shorts to be tight but not thick. I'm not saying this as fact but this was my understanding of it those Vulkan shorts claim to do both heat an compression. We have the 2XU in stock at the moment and we will probabaly have the skins in by the end of the week.

We are based in bray just off the M50, there's a map on our site.

Cheers for the heads up - happened to find something in elverys in Fonthill.

Good to know your shop is there though. Might drop in some day for a look. (Also good to know somewhere that sells skins and 2xu)

btw whats the price of the 2xu and skins shorts (pm if you want)

    Cheers again.

Murrays Pharmacy (I'm almost certain thats the name) on Talbot St have those Vulcan shorts.

Used them once and they do give good support and are also hot. Maybe if they give you some extra confidence they are worth it but you'd need to ensure the injury is right and not use these as a potential short-cut. As I sure you know (since you've had an op), the groin is the most frustrating of injuries and it takes a lot of slow restrengthening and rebuilding to get back to 100%.

Cheers for the advice, I am in my 6th week of rehab from a Gilmores groin. I am running already (following my rehab plan) but just wanted to have the shorts for that bit of extra support around that region.
