My sister broke the screen on her Dell Inspiron laptop. Anyone know where we can go to fix it or what kind of money its gonna cost?

    Hi Gary,

scren replacement can be expensive. If you talk to Dell they will quote you some stupid amount for the replacment.

One of the great things is the screnn itself is fairly universal and there are companies that can provide a replacement ( a new screen only) that you would install into the cover of your laptop.
PM me model and screen size and I'll get you a price.

2nd hand screen can cost from 30 euro upwards plus fitting.
New replacement ones much more but less than what Dell would charge.

This is a site that lists prices on replacement screen.

    Talk soon,
    Rob
