kicked constantly

    everything has been ok with cod 4 for weeks and now suddenly today i cant stay on any servers, punkbuster just keeps kicking me out with error 9006, cant play again for 2 minutes

    so far ive tried

    1) updating manually via pbsetup
    2) Deleting and reinstalling cod 4 and punkbuster

    I have allowed cod4 and both punkbuster files access through my router and firewall

    so anyone else getting this today and found any solution cause its doing my head in

    Use the PB service tool to check that the services are actually running. PBsetup doesn't bother with this part.

    This has happened to me and many pb updates later no change, leave it a day and it should sort it's self out.

    this actually sorted it, i checked the service with the tool and one of them wasnt running, pnkbustr.b or whatever its called, this tool reenabled it and ive just had half an hours uninterrupted play with no kick
