Has anyone ever imported one of these rifles.
I was looking at one in .357 caliber for target shooting.
Single shot rifle with a creedmore sight & 28" octangle barrel.

    Help appricated?
On the DOJ import form you have to describe the action type (Bolt action, etc). What do you put down for a Rolling Block? I do not wish to cause any confusion.

I would reckon that would come in under hammer action .
I have an old remington .22 rolling block octagonal barrell and its described as
    hammer action if that helps.

If it worked for foxhunter, Hammer action.
    Keep it simple.

A Davide Pedersoli with double set trigger ?

    If further clarification is required:
A Rolling Block is an antique 19th century single shot hammer gun based on a pivoting or hinged breechblock pinned to the receiver below the axis of the barrel and ahead of the breech. The exposed hammer placed behind the breechblock ("rolling block") must be manually cocked for every shot.

    Goof luck.
