you could have saved yourself a few quid and found an emulator on line and played all your retro favs on your pc i've been playing N64 games on mine with a usb controller( only when the boss is not looking;)):D

You have to do a bit of a search for the games.

Fully boxed SNES with two joypads and a couple of games would be an awesome xmas present actually.

I've played SNES games on an emulator (both on the PC and the dreamcast) and I've the real thing at home , and to be honest you cant beat playing them on with a real SNES on a real tv with the proper controller.

And sure having "teh romz" for the games(i.e what you play on an emulator) is illegal unless you own the original carts anyway*..;)

    *and even then its dubious

I cherish my snes to this day. Mario Kart/World, Super R Type, Link to the Past.

Aw its the greatest console there is.

I bought one the other day in Tokyo with 12 games for 20euro!
They have hundreds of them in this retro game shop, also bought myself a Sega Saturn with 4 games for 10quid!

SNES is the only Ninty machine I have left to get - my NES and N64 are sitting proudly under my TV (although my GC is boxed away because the Wii does the job there).

Must start watching eBay for sales; Enjoy it anyway!

pfff, i never sold my nes or snes so need for me to rebuy them :D - insaying that i never use them and just play roms on the psp. I like the ideas of diggin it out and hooking up the snes more appealing than the actual digging out and hooking up :D ...lazy i know
