eBay. Costs a tenner/fifteen, got one for the ex a while back and was decent quality. The great thing about computers is; if the cable doesn't fit it doesn't go there. This means that it's fairly straight forward to setup.

To format it, open my computer right click on your removable usb hdd. Select format and your done.

    sounds pretty simple all right

what about compatibility issues, size of hard drive etc.

I have heard some of these enclosures manuals are fairly brutal

Yeah I just got one in Maplin yesterday. Was going to give it to my sister.
Jaysus is it an annoying piece of **** to set up.
It will only do fat32, Drivers aren't compatable with vista, isn't recognised when
I plug in the usb, will have another go at getting it working tonight.

Otherwise its going back to Maplin.

PS the Manual is terrible and has no troubleshooting section.
    Fairly pissed off overall.

Although I do have another media drive and it works perfectly in
every way except that it has a small remote.
