Kraken has kindly agreed to do a well session. If you don't know who he is then you obviously never read the BB thread. Ill start off with a few questions; Im sure there will be plenty more.

1 What interests do you have other than poker?

2 Did you notice when the Bad Beat thread was renamed in your honour?

3 Do you know what your ROI is?

4 If everyone on who posts regularly on this forum ate loads of pasta for 6 months, who would be be the best sumo wrestler?

What time do you set your alarm clock for each morning, so that you can be the first to post in the BB thread?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,537 ✭✭✭Ste05

I suppose I'll ask the obvious one... why don't you post anywhere outside the BBV thread??

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,762 ✭✭✭✭ArmaniJeanss

Would you be more likely to do this if it was part of the BBV thread?.

Whats the highest level of STT you've played?

Is it safe to look you directly in the eyes or is that the gorgon I'm thinking of?

Tell me an amusing anecdote about yourself?

Do you suffer from a virtual form of agoraphobia?

Why do you think people post HHs , they are not very exciting?

Is there anything more beautiful than Sandra Bullock walking out of the hanger in Miss Congenality...if so WHAT?

If you had the chance to be a Vampire would you take that chance so you could join the undead, like halfbaked and IanMc Mickste etc?

He should do, I pm'd him the url. I have another question I forgot to ask.

Is your name a reference to the famous John Wydnham book?

If so, or if you know who he is, which is you favourite of his books?

I'm sick and tired of logging on to boards and imparting knowledge to all the retards here only to get abuse like this. Today, whilst wearing faded blue designer jeans bought in portugal for $175, a faded black faux army shirt picked up cheap in NY, pierre cardin socks and briefs, a brown leather belt from paris, and classic nike trainers, I have already won $1600 having only been logged on for less than an hour. How much have you earned today? Goddamn right im cool.

    just kidding

    1. I like digital photography (want to get DSLR), like to watch football, computer games (was addicted to FIFA Manager) and most lately I bought electric grill, I love it, I grilled pretty much everything from classic steaks to vegetables

    2. I noticed that, it made me lauch and realize I am really stuck there..

    3. I am pretty sure my ROI is less than 100%, do not know the exact number though..

    4. Do not know anybody who would just eat pasta for 6 months, with beer and meet maybe, but I think you would be pretty good sumo wrestler.. you were able to push me out of the BB thread;)

    A. I said happy christmas to 3 people on the M50, while they cut me off while giving the 2 finger signs,

    B. Put up at least 10 white noise posts on boards......

    C. Started a bring back Solksjear campaign..... well maybe not.

Depends when I have to be at work, sometimes as early as 5 a.m. but not later than 7 a.m. and sometimes I just stay up late.. right now I am not working because of my broken foot (just read today john terry joined me) so I barely set it..

Just got used to it, I really like the BB thread, not too much thinking and analysis just poker emotions, you feel better seeing you are not alone who is running bad.. and when I tried to post somewhere else later people were making jokes (I would do the same so it was all right), but somehow I stuck there.. I guess this is a good way how to change it..

Actually it feels good to get out of there.. I played $20 buy in at Prima by accident (wanted to play $2, too much beer) busted out as 7th:) the highest I really got was $5..

    2. lol that's funny, it's probably named after the Kraken from "The Cash of the Titans" I was named after

    1. Already met few gorgons, I just froze for a moment

    2. It's going to be a Christmas one. Las week after Xray of my twisted food the doctor said: "Well, you are going to have a white Christmas"

    3. Just found out what is it:) I may suffer from it. I'll try to run antivirus scan, maybe it will help.

    4. Sometimes HHs are not exciting for other people than the poster, probably because many times you only get the final HH, you do not see the whole build up that led to the anger, joy, despair people want to get out posting the HH..

    5. I will never forget Cameron Diaz in The Mask and I really liked the indian girl in Jaguar with Jean Reno

    6. I really like garlic fries so I would pass

    1. Once registering at one sex chat site at dorms during college we didn't know with my roommates what to put as username, so we just put kraken (was my college nickname) and 1800 because that was what we were drinking. That's how it was born.

    2. I haven't played live for almost 2 years since I left Vegas. Now that I moved in with my girl do not have time for it..

    3. I rarely play cash, and if yes just the low limits or to qualify for some special tournament

    4. I am not a winning player, my bad streaks are still longer than my winning streaks.. I just do not play good enough when I am running bad..

    5. Stop making these jokes. How do you know I am getting bold:confused:

    6. Probably red

what would you do in the following situation - its just been announced that there is a 5min break after this hand. you have re - raised the button raiser with A3off.(pot 1000, your playig 5k and so is villain) the flop comes down 246 rainbow. you check your opponent pushes all in - back to you . . .

have you entered the holdem theory section yet??

if you choked a smurf, and he went red in the face, what colour would his blood be?

when you lod onto boards, and click into the BBV thread, do you sit back in your chair, take a deep breath, let a smile cross your face and get the feeling like you've reached home?

Every plan to venture into cash action?

I have some ambitions to improve, I already finished reading Super System I from Doyle and Also Sklansky's Holdem for Advanced players. It really helped me to improve. I started reading the The Secrets of Professional Pot-Limit Omaha by Rolf Slotbloom recently, great book. Somebody here recommended (do not remember who but thanks) it to me a while ago and it's really worth reading. Already won my first $2 Omaha STT:)

I also have Super System II and Kill Phil by Lee Nelson, still haven't started those. If you have any ideas for good poker books I will be glad if you let me know.

I just use simple bankroll management (if you can really call it like that). I usually move up limits as soon as I have bankroll of at least 25 times the STT buy in. I am not sure if it's right but it works for me so far.

I do not plan, so I may come back to cash action more seriously in the future. Need to improve before I do it though. I still have trouble to control my patience.

My first language now is Slovak as I live in Slovakia

lol this looks like Deja Vu to me:) In perfect world I would fold. But in situation when I was ready for a quickie low limit STT and everybody was playing tight as hell I would just put it all in and I think I did. Patience.. that's my biggest problem..

I checked the theory section few times, it's surely very helpful info. I hesitate to analyze my play because I know I suck really bad sometmes. I guess I will need to do it if I want to improve.

    Blood will be blue

Depends. When I post a brag I kind of feel good, when a bad beat I feel little bit relieved:)

The fifa manager is definitely more stressful. Especially when you are winning and in stoppage time they score two goals. I just play it when I am home alone. So nobody hears me swearing;)

I lived in Vegas almost 2 years. Started as a porter, then worked as waiter and then I was doing the food and beverage audit. 2 casinos I worked for were already imploded (Stardust and New Frontier). Pretty sad. Discovered poker in the last months I was there. Before I was wasting my time playing video poker, blackjack and with lapdances.

I post on other forums, not just poker but also digital photography, football and food, nothing regular though..

I found boards when I started to play poker and was seeking for an advice, the BB section really helped me to take bad beads easy, doesn't make me as angry as before

Want to get one of the more compact ones. I am still deciding between Nikon D40X and popular Canon 400D. But will probably go with Nikon.

I work for corp that is doing credit card outsorcing for banks, as operator. I am running the credit cards processing and generating reports for banks. One of the easier jobs but gets boring sometimes. And sometimes (end of month, end of year) pretty hectic.

Now that I moved in with my girlfriend I spend lot of time with her, watching movies, going to theatre (already went to balet and opera, boring as hell). Sometimes I go out with my old college buddies (none of them plays poker:confused:) and I also play chess online (running better than poker). And as almost everybody I love to sleep and eat:)

I do not really have favourite or least favourite poster. I like the humor in BB thread, all the regulars there are pretty funny. Flushdraw may be the funniest one. I envy all the more serious players, when you see the graphs from poker trackers it's unbelievable how consistent they are. You must really have the nuts to take the bad luck at those levels and keep your composure. I am less envious of those who wouldn't go for a sportsmans double;) And the sportsmans triple.. daughter 17 and mother 35, surely. I am not sure about the grandmother but after several beers and surgeries wouldn't be a problem. If I did something like that it would be probably impossible not to brag about it..

How did you injure your ankle?

If you ask for a cup of tea or a refreshment and you can get it yourself will your girlfriend still go fetch it for you on account of your lack of mobility?. Do you play on your imobility with her a lot?

When will you be ready to go back to work?

How many brothers and sisters have you and do you keep in contact with them?

What did your girlfriend say when she found out you injured yourself?

Do you ever order a takeaway from your home? if so whats your favourite and please be precise?

Who are the most famous people you have met in person?

In Vegas when placing a doller or 5 dollar bill in the g-string of a lap dancer did you ever feel awkward about this manouvre or did you ever accidentally miscalcuulate the dollar placemet and get a little close?

I was an hour late coming back to work after lunch break so I took a shortcut. I was walking fast and it was slippery so I twisted my food. I was still walking on it but the next day after the X-ray doctor said it was fractured.

lol How do you know that? I play on my imobility with her pretty badly. I was late after the lunch because I was with her so she thought it was her fault. So even if I am not playing with her she is still asking me if I need anything. Anyway I told her it was not her fault but you know women.. they never listen to us. But I do not mind;)

I have the next appointment in hospital 17th of January so I hope I will be able get back to work soon after that.

I have one brother, he is still sdudying and lives with our parents so we meet whenever I come to see them. He also comes to visit us, especially when there is a reggae or ska concert in town.

    She was laughing like crazy..

Once in couple weeks I like to order pizza. I always order Al Capone Pizza: ham, cheese, mushrooms, onion, bleu cheese, eggs, olives and hot peppers.

Haven't really met anybody world famous. I've seen Whoopy Goldberg 6 years ago in Ohio. And in Vegas we had in restaurant "famous rapper" I've never heard of, probably because I do not really like rap. He was wasted and probably also stoned sleeping on the table. Nobody was able to get any autograph:)

That's a good idea, I have never tried any tricks like that. But I was slapped once. I grabbed her boobs even after she said to me I couldn't touch:confused:
