Considering moving from paddy power and signing up with Green Joker Poker, few questions...

    1. Ive played on paddy power a lot, in terms of software etc is green joker much different?

    2. is there live chat on green joker?

    3. is the signup bonus on the website the best on offer, or does anyone on here know of a better deal?

    4. is it possible to get rakeback off green joker

Any other info about the site appreciated...

    4. "loyalty bonus available" works same way, automatically get it through my sig.

Hi meathman, I was in the same boat as you this time last month playing my poker with PPP, but had been debating moving over to GJP for months on end... and i'm finally glad I made the move over a few weeks back.

    1) The skin is identical to PPP apart from the Colour scheme / logos etc. as you expect.

    2) Very convenient having Shortstack to PM / e-mail for a speedy response and guaranteed happiness with your query / problem. The BlueSQ support is very good as well on the brief occasions i've had to deal with them.

    3) There sign up bonus is fantastic with a 100% bonus upto $500 that is released in sums of $10 at a time, per 600 Joker points.

    4) Just like PPP but far far more generous, they have a VIP scheme put in place.

Bronze: Average monthly points 0-2999. You can cash your points in at a rate of $1 per 1000 points. Minimum cash in 10,000 points.

Silver: Average monthly points 3000-6999. In addition to being able to cash in your points at a rate of $1 per 1000, you also a get a loyalty bonus of $7 per 1000 points, this is paid within 10 days from the end of the month earned. Your bonus will be between $21 & $49.

Gold: Average monthly points 7000-29999. In addition to being able to cash in your points at a rate of $1 per 1000, you also a get a loyalty bonus of $12 per 1000 points, this is paid within 10 days from the end of the month earned. Your bonus will be between $84 & $360.

Platinum: Average monthly points 30000-59999. In addition to being able to cash in your points at a rate of $1 per 1000, you also a get a loyalty bonus of $14 per 1000 points, this is paid within 10 days from the end of the month earned. Your bonus will be between $420 & $840.

Diamond+: Average monthly points 100,000+. In addition to being able to cash in your points at a rate of $1 per 1000, you also a get a loyalty bonus of $20 per 1000 points, this is paid within 10 days from the end of the month earned. Your bonus will be a minimum of $2000 and no max!

Definetly the best skin on the iPoker network! :)

thanks for the reply, can you elaborate on the 'loyalty bonus available' - on paddy power i earned pp points every month - i would then get a bonus every month according to the number of points i earned - i also could cash out the points when i earned 10000+ - is green joker the same?

i presume the ipoker bet pot script, eyepoker etc etc works with gjp the same as it does with paddy power...?

Not sure, I havent played much since the rules changed, Sparkys answer seems spot on. Yes you can also cash out every 10,000 points, think its 1$ to 1000 points on top of the other loyalty bonus.

Im told that scripts work fine but havent tried them myself.

Yes, once you've earned a min. of 10,000 points you can cash out 56k points for example for $56 on top of your sign up bonus and VIP program. Plenty of dollars to be earned :)

...and as far as i'm aware the AHK Bet Pot script works with GJP, although I don't use it personally.

    Good luck!

Yeah Ruhan, it does indeed mate.

That is currently the payment method i'm using with GJP. Instant deposits and I made a withdrawal today actually to test out the speed going back to Moneybookers and it was in my account within 5minutes, which was impressive and bloody handy that you can move your BR around in a matter of minutes from site to site. :)

Although this could have been a one-off as I done it about 2pm today - and sometimes if it's between office hours then it is lightning, where as if you withdraw now it would probably be 9am before it hits your MB account, thats just an educated guess by the way - as that's the way most poker sites work with Neteller, Moneybookers etc.

I wonder are GJP looking for marketing person like paddy power cause I think Sparky would be perfect for it.

Yeah and its interesting how sparky is currently on $0 in the xmas cash league race:p "hmmmmmm" "hmmmmm"!.

:D Well the funniest thing about it all is I've only been playing on GJP for around a fortnight, just checked PT there to find out when, it's seemed longer. :)

...so that would explain me being so low down in the Cash League race.

As far as GJP concerned - I just love to promote the site and get as many customers for them as possible, as they do far more for their poker site than most other poker companies. By putting on specific promotions like the Cash league race, generous sign-up bonuses and a fanastic VIP program. :)

Just there to spread the good gospel and support my local site.

Can't see an option to set up moneybookers.
Live help doesn't seem to work?

    Any GJP love?

It should be in the drop down menu when you are asked what deposit method you want to use. If you already chose something different then fir me an email. mike at greenjokerpoker.com.

Thanks shortstack, it wasn't in the drop down, only credit/debit card, neteller and ukash.

I chose ukash, but don't use ukash.

You need to email support and tell them you want to change your deposit method to moneybookers. They may ask for ID etc(scan of a utility bill and bank statement) for security reasons.

hi, i suppose a green joker employee would be the ideal person to answer this question...

I joined up with GJP about a week ago and earned about 16000 joker points in that time.

Im basically wondering about my bonus for next month and how it will work? - can i only be upgraded one bonus level each month or can you jump numerous levels? - if that is the case how much of a bonus will i get next month?

I cancelled my Green Joker account. If you're playing 10/20 cent the amount of raked hands you need to play to get your bonus is a joke. Plus I got locked out of my account and it took 5-6 emails to get me back in.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 309 ✭✭SuperHans

You can jump numerous levels in a single month. They base the level you are in the next month on a weighted average of your previous months play, but since you've only played there this month, your december points tally will count 100% towards the level you attain.
So check their site to see what level 16000 points gets you to, and then multiply the amount of points you have by whatever the bonus rate is for that level.
I think at the moment that you'll be upgraded to gold. That level pays out $12 for every 1000 points. You can also the cash in your points for an additional $1 per 1000 points, so overall you are getting $13 per 1000 points.

^ thanks for the thorough explanation, should be getting around 200 then, not bad...

16,000 points will put you into gold VIP which gets you $12/1000 pts which is $192.

I review VIP levels before any bonuses are paid.

This is taken from the GJP website...

    Your first month examples:

If you start playing midway through a month and earn 15,000 joker points during that part month you will get a bonus of $180. Your VIP level will be set during the next months play.

If you start playing on the 1st of the month and earn 15,000 joker points you will get a bonus of $180 and be put into the Gold VIP from the beginning of the next month.

    folks,
could someone tell me about multitabling GJP. are the tables resizable? id like to be able to see 4 without overlap. i like the way on party for example i can click the icon and all my tables will auto-resize to fit my screen. cheers.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,646 ✭✭✭cooker3

You can't resize them like you can on party but there is a miniview which means table are much smaller. But there is no in between
