    Hey guy's,

I've never really travelled abroad much, but i am going to bring my bf away for Valentine's. I have decided on Amsterdam after reading a few threads about the city on this helpful forum and a few other's!

Just want to ask the experts here, if this is a good deal as i don't know whether to book it now or wait until January!

Return flights for the both of us with Aer Lingus for €215

3 nights 5* Radisson SAS hotel for around €380

So roughly €600, good deal? In particular the flights?

    Thanks a lot

Seems a relatively good deal - definitely for the flights if nothing else. The Radisson SAS looks like you managed to get a good rate for it. As said check out it's reviews on tripadvisor.com for some others opinions :)

Thanks for the replies. Yeah it was mainly the flights, i think i'll go ahead and book them now because i really don't think i'll do better than that!

Is Amsterdam a good place guy's for Valentine's? Unless there is anywhere else besides Paris that would come highly recommended for a Valentine's break?

It'll be great. One of my favourite cities - lots to see, lots to do and if the weather is good it's a great place to just roam around and soak up the atmosphere

you won't get anything better than that for flights. I was there last year in February and going again this year, flights will definitely go up in January.

Was actually just looking at that hotel deal with Radisson today, it's pretty good, if you're looking for somewhere nice to stay that is also central.

You will get cheaper hotels but perhaps not as nice. Radisson in Amsterdam is normally about €500 for 3 nights.

    Go for it!

just be aware that it can be very cold in amsterdam, the wind blows in from the north sea so bring a good coat! great city to wander around, some great museums and architecture, have a wander around the vondel (sp?) park which is near the rijkmuseum.
