My daughter is starting riding lessons in January. The school provide everything , I just need to get her jophurs. Can anyone recommend a shop that I can bring her to to get some? We live in Bray. Thanks.

You don`t need jodphurs if your daughter is just starting out. Track suit bottoms will do, if you want to wear a comfy pair of jeans ensure it has no inside seam.

A real sign of the times I`ve noticed is small kids just starting out who are kitted out in jods, jodphur and half chaps (very nice ones they were). When I started out it was an old pair of shoes with a slight heel and an anorak!.

leggings would also be perfect when she's starting out. I wouldnt kit her out until you're sure she'll enjoy the lessons.
