Favourite perks?

What are your favorite perks? Mine are Claymore, Stopping power and Deep Shot. I figure the faster you can knock a d00d, the better, even if he is behind a wall. Also, I hate the ACOG scope.

Steady hand is very useful in firing rifles like the G3 and M14 from the hip.

i only really play clanbase cod4 matches now, so there is feck all perks you can use, i use bandollier, deep penetration and think its the running one i use then.

at first i hated the clanbase server config but i like it now..

Gotta agree - there's nothing sweeter than taking out a guy who thinks he's safely in cover behing a wall:D

The clay's are cool too - especially when your sniping and need to cover your back.

Fantastic game - I thought nothing would beat COD UO but I've hardly played it since 4 came out.

Sniping - Claymore, Stopping Power, Iron Lungs

Knife Kit - Juggernaut, 3 Grenades, Extreme Conditioning

Also steady aim is good for MG's , especially the P90 or M14

Stopping power is excellent for the M4, especially on hardcore, 1 shot headshot kills finally

I generally go Bandolier, Stopping Power, and Dead Silence/Deep Impact. I like to stay alive, so the extra ammo is very handy.

Hardcore servers all the way.

i hope they bring out a mod to have more saved classes for public servers.. used to use the m4 but i fell in love with the ak in matches now!! with a silencer it pwns

I'd prefer no perks, would prefer the game if hardcore mode actually removed stuff like the perks, well at least the really arcade style ones like martyrdom, airstrikes and helicopters. The kill streak bonus ones in particular really do not encourage people to play to the objectives.

Im all on for ranking up so as i master a weapon's challenges i switch to a new one. However i generally stick to the same perks.

Red Dot sight
2x RPGs
Deep Impact
Stopping Power

I prefer RPG's over claymores.

The matrydom perk annoys the hell out of me as sometimes you havent a hope of escaping in time.

Couldn't agree more!

However, I do love the Last Stand perk. It is great fun to blow someone away with your pistol when they assume they have killed you. A lot more realistic that the stupid martyrdom perk also.

I use M4 with Silencer and Stopping Power and Deep Shot. I rarely use anything else TBH. Not mad into the whole "creating profiles for each map / gametype"... I just wanna play play play!

I'm only at level 26... But that ain't bad after 4 hours me thinks! And I'm starting to finish first a lot of the times!

Haven't played a single match yet though...
