    Good afternoonings all. This role has opened up in poker so I thought I would let you know about it first. It has not yet been sent out to the agencies and is hot off the press so if it floats your boat you can get in before the MAD DASHING of the crowd. After all, to date some of our brightest and finest have tread the boards along the way :D

    PPP is now looking for a Marketing / Brand manager which is a very diverse role that requires the talents of an extremely creative individual.

    The salary is competitive and experience based.

    Main duties & responsibilities:
    • Define and develop marketing strategies and plans
    • Continue to develop and drive the brand excellence of the paddypowerpoker.com Irish Open

    • Plan, write and manage distribution of promotional emails
    • Work with design team to create compelling promotions that reflect the Paddy Power brand
    • Analyse and report on all marketing campaigns
    • Ensure that the content of the website is of high quality and up to date
    • Liaise with IT teams on new site developments
    • Research and report on key industry trends and competitors
    • Discover the optimal customer acquisition and retention strategy.
    • Liaise with creative agency and central marketing department.
    • Work with marketing teams from other Paddy Power businesses to develop mutually beneficial campaigns.

    Essential Competencies:
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Strong relationship management skills.
    • Creatively minded.
    • Ability to work under pressure and on own initiative.
    • Superb organizational skills.
    • Highly analytical.
    • Good commercial acumen.
    • Inclusive working style.
    The right candidate will have:
    • Bachelors degree preferably in marketing.
    • Background in Marketing Management in an E-Commerce environment
    • Knowledge of the online gaming industry would be advantageous
    • Knowledge and interest in poker would be advantageous.
    • A track record in driving change and breaking rules to good affect
    • Excellent customer empathy
    • A lively mind and be an interesting person

    What salary band applies? I understand you can't give specifics, but a rough guideline as to what you're thinking would make it far easier to come to an informed decision.

    There's no point in getting to an interview stage only to find out you have to take a pay drop if you want the position.
