The His and Hers games recommendation thread?

Hi There ,
Just bought my wife a Wii, she played on a friends a while ago and to my surprise really liked it.

Anyway Im more an X box 360 player myself and thought Id ask here from some game recommendations for herself primarily and then I guess if any of the lads wanna throw me some recommendations that'd be great .

I got some diving game free with teh console so cant imagine that's gonna be much good and I know the sports game included is ok... so ya know , something to keep us going over the christmas would be great.

Zelda may be good for you both, also Super Mario Galaxy, and some of the better party style games, like Rayman Raving Rabbids

For yourself, what kind of games do you like?

Thanks for the reply , I like games like Call of Duty, Gears of War ... Action shoot em ups basically , also like driving and football.

Is Mario Kart on the Wii I remember years ago playing that on the SNES I think it was?

Cheers for that , seems like the Wii has a bit of appeal for the girls... dont wanna come across in a negative way but it seems to have more appeal to the ladies than the XBOX or playstations .

Mario Kart is coming out early next year there will be online gaming with it

Mario at the Olympics is good, especially its use of the wii mote

Mario strikers is a alright game but the online feature is brilliant especially 2player.

And obliously galaxy and zelda, they are class as well.
