    Hi Togster,

Dont know prices off hand but i know of a local Roscommon based dealer that sells a lot of horses to Sweeden and makes a lot of trips over and back there...
Hes been doing it for years so im sure he's well equipped, might be worth a call to enquire as to rates etc.
Have been reprimanded for giving names out on the board so PM me if your interested.

Just googled and found this which looks professional: http://www.eisagency.com/

This man seems to be very prolific in horse transport too, i regularly meet his truck on the roads around Ireland and on boats to the continent too: http://www.georgemullinstransport.ie/index.htm

I'm not sure myself about Sweden but a good place to start is to ring a company called Equine Express - fantastic company - they do all of Europe AFAIK.. I'll PM you re who to call ..or look on the website..

    ExpressEquine

They are fantastic. Very experienced and horses arrive in perfect condition - I'm totally paranoid about anyone but myself travelling my horses but I trust these guys.. They even text you en-route to say how your horse is doing and don't mind paranoid-owner phonecalls!

A good transporter makes travelling horses long-distance easier.. do make sure that they actually take the breaks they say they do however - some don't..

    Bx
