    On back of todays IT "Carton House lifetime membership, value €40k will sell €25k". I suppose the sting in the tail is that annual fees are still probably €000's

    If you ask me the sting is that the price you have to pay is not the book value of that share. The club would only ever redeem that share at its fully paid up value at issue which could be as low as 12,000.
    But if you were never to leave it and have no probs with the 2250-then its good value!
