Gmail now with added IMAP!

    You can now access your Gmail account using IMAP. There are instructions on the Gmail web site on how to enable IMAP in your Gmail account. My account doesn't have the IMAP section shown in in the Gmail instructions, but I'm able to use the IMAP settings in my email client anyway. It works perfectly and it's far better than POP.

    I hadn't heard about IMAP in Gmail. I don't have my language set to US, and it still works.

    What he is saying is if your language is set to en-us you get the notifications of the new features earlier. IMAP has been there for quite a while.

    OK, if you all know about IMAP in Gmail well I suppose this thread can be deleted so...
