    I know that very few people get excited about the prospect of another Van Damme film, but his recent output has been very decent and his new film looks like it could be really good. There's a short six minute video of it here.

    It seems to be a straight up black comedy, which is a nice change of pace from the usual man with a vendetta he's been doing recently.

    The only reason I clicked on the link was the above paragraph, I thought you must be talking about a different jean-claude van damme (comedy??), but that was actually pretty good :)
    Kind of looks like of like a french-film version of extras.

    I'm a fan of Van Damme's films, and his recent out put has been very good. In Hell, Wake of Death, The Hard Corps and until Death are all very good films and show that Van Damme has some acting ability.

    Pity it's not in English. I've no problem with subtitles, but in a comedy the expressions add so much.

    I am. For some reason I enjoy his films, where as I despise Seagal and Norris. Van Damme has been in an awful lot of crap but like Lundgren he has shown that he has some talent. Both of them have been in a number of superior films in recent years and Lundgren has even wrote and directed some. Lundgren's The Mechanik is one of the best action films in quite some time.
