It's based on "Carol of the Bells"... Ukranien origin I think...

I don't know but I want to personally decapitate the ad exec that resurrected it and put in the bland crapness that has mutated the choral piece into such a hateful 30 seconds.

Also, the What's that song thread might be more apt for such a request.
