    Does anyone know of a Thunderbird extensions that will let me prepare an email and set it to send at a specific time or date?

    I remember having one before but it never seemed to work - at least in the few times I tried it.

    Can't find one on Mozilla.org either.

    Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

    I think that might have been sendtools but it has not been kept up to date for tb 2.... there is another one but for some reason it's not on the mozilla site so I don't know... after all getting people to install an addon seems to me like an easy way to break their security!? Anyway it's called sendlater and you'll find it at http://downloads.unsignedbyte.com/sl8tr/sl8tr.xpi
    Once installed you can select File->Send Later (or press shift-ctrl+return) from the new mail composition window

    Thx for the info.
    I did download the link I pointed to and had a look through the code (I never actually looked at a mozilla plugin before but it seems to be just javascript) Anyway, I just gave it a quick once over but didn't see anything unusual so installed it and it seems to be working fine.
    If I see anything usual happening I will let you know

    @information
    I see the unsignedbyte site is still hacked I guess it has no admin. I downloaded the plugin from the site before it was hacked.
    I was a bit suspicious as it wasn't the official mozilla plugin site and, as I said, I did browse quickly the code and saw nothing unusual. It's not functionalit I use a lot but so far I haven't noticed anything unusual. So if you are still looking I can email you what I downloaded - or perhaps post it here? let me know if that would be helpful
