    Hi folks, I'm looking for some advice. I'd like to set a webcame up in my home that i can vuiew from work. Can i set this up using MSN/Skype or similar?

    I don't think you will be able to that as easily as you think?

    I would imagine that you would need to get a DVR unit with Networking.

    I have worked with a few different types of these units & to be honest I didn't find them great.

    I dont really want to record in the house, I can use a machine in work to do that.

    So basically a laptop and webcam linked to the web then i can use my machine in work to view the stream.
