Anybody know if the DAA are recruiting in the new year?? I really want to work in customer service in the terminal. (Yes, the pink t-shirted folk):D However, anytime Ive tried getting a job there I am told that they are currently not recruiting. How often do they recruit? Has anybody worked in customer service at Dublin Airport before??

I applied last year, fairly late in the season, about the start of June. Sent in the CV and all that, and got a text about two days later saying all positions had been filled, but im on a reserve list. Sure enough, a few days later, I get a call from the HR company responsible asking me to come in for an interview that afternoon. Unfortunitly I had since taken a different job so I couldnt take it. . Keep an eye on the DAA website over the next few months.

The DAA recruit generally at the start of every summer. That's when they take on Customer Service Agents (the pinkies), The Trolley boys, Cleaners etc...

I've never heard of them taking on those 3 any other time.

Although, every now and again there is recruitment for Airport Search Unit (friskers) and other stuff.

Are the people who do the recruiting for the DAA. Look them up and give them a ring, explaining what you want to do. I find they are good.
