System Prefferences reverting to default

    Hi Folks,

    I have my ctrl key set to command under the modifier key setup in system preferences (coz Im using a windows keyboard) however it resets to default evertime I restart. Any ideas?

    Well since OSX uses the ctrl key it's probably causing a conflict which the system is detecting on start-up and resetting. Have you not got a windows key you can set as command?

    Hmm, I used to use a windows keyboard and I never had this problem, so I don't think it's that. Are you using Tiger or Leopard? As a temporary workaround, I've attached a little app that'll automatically switch the keys to the way you want them (I'm guessing you just want Ctrl and Command switched?) Put it in your dock and click it, it's just a GUI Applescript.
