So I got a refund from a seller on ebay. So the money is showing up on my paypal balance but I want it to go back to the credit card. Do I have to wait a few more days and it'll transfer automatically or do I have to transfer it myself? any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Any time I've been refunded, it went back to my card instantly. A refund may be showing in your account, but are you sure it's there as cash you can spend?

Some "thick sellers" don't actually refund the original payment, but credit by initiating a new transaction. In the former case there is no liability for either party to paypal fees and money is sent back to funding source (in your case credit card) and in the latter there may be two sets of paypal fees and money will stay in your account.

It'll say it on your next credit card statement that the refund had gone straight into your account, that might be a while, but generally it does take a while.

If its in your account now then nope it won't go back to your credit card.

Your seller most likely sent you a payment instead of refunding your original payment. Those funds will just sit there unless you withdraw them to your bank account.

Get on to your seller and ask him to refund the original payment and then you can refund the payment he sent to you making it all square again. No paypal fees and your money goes back to the card.

If you want the money asap... then you could just log in to your paypal account and transfer the money to your bank account .. then it off your credit card?

its an option for ya :D

You just go to your account then "withdraw", then add bank details!
