There was a very good low mileage R30TX auto on eBay.co.uk a couple of months back. From memory it didn't sell, it might be worth your while keeping an eye out for it.

Well there's a pic of an immaculate R18 in silver (200HZU) on page 45 of the "Today I saw a Classic and took a pic" thread.
My dad had a metallic blue R18 GTS with power steering, electric windows etc. i know it was originally a priests car, before he bought it and it was a 1979 (UZH) reg. lovely car that never rusted. God I would love to have it now!!!

Always liked the R11, the front end of them always reminded me of the DeLorean DMC-12. I haven't seen a R11 in this country since the 90's though. :(

Your real best bet for preserved Renault's would be going on the ferry to France. There are loads of R11, 18, etc. there. If you do it before next July, you won't have to pay the new ridiculous motor tax rates either.

For a minute there I was thinking "this man" was some kind of sado-machocist that collected Renaults for his sins...........phew!:D

    Hi Guys,

Thanks for all the "complimentary" replies.
As they say, "One mans trash is another mans treasure" and don't forget that.

about this time 6/7 year ago, I saw an R12 parked outside the hotel at Horse and Jockey, Co Tipperary. It looked in good condition and was the later version . This summer I spotted a Dacia crewcab in Galway which is the Romanian built R12 pickup with canopy. It might still be around. Im guessing that its about a year old.
