Advice needed for a BB setup

    Merry xmas everyone!

I'm hoping to get some educated advice for BB my brother wants to setup.
He's based in a granny flat out my mothers back garden and he wants to install BB for his laptop and online gaming with his Playstation3. Plus he would be occasionally D/L'ing the odd torrent. And all the above at a descent speed!
He's not asking for much eh!??

From what i've gathered there's a few options available, but there are for and against's with most.

The building is wired up with a phoneline, but it's not in service, so BT landline with BB could be setup.

Or would a totally wireless broadband in a box option (Clearwire, Ripwave etc etc) be better?

I have heard that d/l'ing torrents on 3 wireless is nigh on impossible?
Also, will being situated out behind a building with only a skyward view affect his service with 3,clearwire, ripwave..?

i'm kinda unsure as to what my advice to him should be.
Any help and advice with this descision will be much appreciated.

    thanks in advance people!

    Flametop out!

Fixed Wireless/Metro can be as good as DSL (phone line). There is also Cable.

3G Mobile phone and "broadband in box" products more for phone line replacement, Students on a tight budget, mobility etc rather than Online Gaming/Torrents/Broadband.

See the FAQ where the services are described.
