Ok, tried using the search function but wasnt turning out any hits so i now must ask you o fine people of the instruments forum to guide me one last time to a site that stocks these strings as i lost all my faveorites when i wiped vista.

Also thinking bout chaging the gauge of my strings, i used to play medium lights but they were a bit floppy when i tuned down a step, Any ideas to what would be the best gauge for cgcfad tuning(this is the lowest the band goes) the only stipulation is that its gotta be able to be tuned to standard every once and a while.

Thanks and sorry for dragging this up again in advance!!

http://www.stringsandbeyond.com/deanmarkley.html You also get advice from DocJ? I buy mine here. Expect some free picks in the post too.

My band tunes to FCGDA (5-string bass tuning) as standard, with dropping to FCGCA for some songs, and those are with my SR2000 lights. Yes, they are a bit floppy, but I like the feel of them that way. My tone is suffering though, so I will have to go to a higher gauge soon. Then again, I am crap, so take my advice with a fistful of salt :D

http://www.thomann.de/ie/warwick_42301m_red_label.htm These were the beasties that the Doc recommended to me for tuning to Drop A. Should be able to handle a full step down around the board.
