    Lads looking at buying a Jem 7v off a lad. His reasons for selling seem genuine but the price is very good. I asked about documentation and he said there is none and he has flightcase for it but not the ibanez one i would expect. He said its brand new still with plastic on the pickguard.

    Is it possible to buy a jem without the proper case and docs?

    Not without some unusual circumastances.

    Im sure it's happened; big places mixing up cases etc.

    I've been offered counterfeit Jems in the past, including off this very site. So be aware of exactly what you're buying before parting cash.
