    Hi i was just wondering if someone could help me with something that i cant get off my mind. I went to my doctor several months ago after my period was 3weeks late even though i was on the pill at the time, he questioned me about my period and asked me lots of questions and established that i had been on antibiotics approx 2months previously and my previous period had started while i was still taking my pill for that month and had been unusually heavy and long although i didnt think much of it at the time as it was a new pill i was trying and was still getting used to it.

    He told me that he believed i possibly miscarried in the early stages of pregnancy and the reason i hadnt got my period was that your body needs time to get back to normal and he mentioned something about a hormone still showing up on a pregnancy test, now i took a pregnancy test and it came back negative the day before i went to the doctor.....i had put it off for so long as i was only 18 at the time and had just broken up with my boyfriend who had been cheating and was generally just in shock that i could have been so stupid to let it happen.

    What the doctor told me really was a slap in the face and i still feel pretty awful about the whole thing months later, but could it really have happened, how could i not have known this, i just cant digest it at all?

    Any knowledge on this would be appreciated thanks guys.
