    Can this be right?

The Berhinger B2030A Active monitors at Thomann:

    here

    The same ones at Musicstore:

    here

140euro in the difference? Surely some mistake Miss Moneypenny?

They have different RRP prices stated also.

The MusikStore price is per monitor, not per pair. It says it on a very small, very sneaky line of text above where the price is displayed. Extra sneaky cause there are 2 monitors in the picture. Shame, would have been the bargain of the year otherwise :)

Damn! Thanks for pointing that out, was about to snap 'em up!

I'm looking for a pair (:)) of active monitors to use with my Toneport and Guitar Rig 2/Amplitube 2.

These look ok and have got decent reviews:

    clicky

Paying a bit extra for the Berhingers on Thomann might be a good idea though, I've heard good things about the truths.

I'd pay up to 270euro. If anyone has any experience with this area I'd appreciate recommendations.

Its common enough to list monitors on a per/unit basis. Some studios will have a centrally located monitor for checking mixes in mono. Wasn't that binatone monitor released recently with the sole purpose of giving a mono mix with minimal low end and minimal high end? Also some people mix and match when putting together 5.1 systems and such. So there can be genuine reasons for quoting price in ones.
