NTL Cancellation fee

    Hi,
I'm looking at getting NTL connected. (Broadband, Phone & TV) in a new house that I am renting. The current offers are for a year contract and are very reasonably priced. The problem is I'm only in the house for 5 months and then moving on (I'm emigrating so can't continue it elsewhere). I rang NTL and they said that if I cancelled early in the contract I would be charged €100. This seems fairly resonable to me. Just wondering is this correct or are they only just trying to get me to sign up.

    Thanks,
    Cillian

Correct, minimum contract is 12 months, so if you break they charge for the trouble.

    Mike.
