Cheap Gamecube controller?

Hey,

I bought a GC controller off the net there about 3 months ago, but didn't buy a 2nd one as i'd already bought the classic controller and figured I wouldn't need it because I didn't think I'd be buying any GC games. I bought Soul Calibur 2 there last week off the net, and didn't figure in the need for an extra joypad.

Had a look on E-bay and they're now selling in pairs for the same price that i paid for my single one :mad: . I'd buy another one off the net, but I reckon it prolly won't get here before xmas as the last one i bought took 2 1/2 weeks to get here.

Does anybody know anywhere they're selling them relatively cheaply in Dublin City centre, or does anybody have a spare one they'd like to offload?

I was going to buy one a month or so ago and a mate mentioned they had a couple of them in Game somewhere for €15. Have a gander around Game stores

there is a seller on adverts.ie with a controller and some games. bought stuff from them before and they met me in the city centre

Cheers for the replies folks. I had a look in town today,:

HMV - €15 for a 3rd party one by a company called Venom (anyone know if they're any use?)

Game Stop Henry St. - none....said to check other shops

Argos & Smyths don't sell them either. It's annoying, cos theyre going for 99p STG on ebay for 2, but the postage is £13 and that bumps the price up to over a score

It's also unclear whether they are offical Ninty ones or not.

They still seem to have a few of the Japanese models available... (they should work on a PAL system, but I'm not 100% on that)
