hi first of all this could possibly be posted in the wrong forum so sorry, but basically i did a job recently in a house for a mate, there tv aerial is the attic and connected to a distribution box feeding several rooms, i connected the sky box up the the distribution box well i bought a new one a 16 way tvlink to allow magic eyes to work all was working great standard aerial channels and sky being disrtibuted around the house, he has now bought a new flatscreen and when he connects the lead from tv into wall socket it puts the channels flicking on and off in all rooms, the socket is in a converted garage and from what he told me it was looped from the neighbouring room by an electrician does anyone have any ideas what could be causing this

Are you saying the electrician looped the connection a wallplate to another output? Big no-no.

Ideally there would be another (direct) connection from the distribution amp to the wallplate in the garage. Even splitting the output of the wallplate in the living room would have been better than that loop job.
