Anybody know what was going on? Saw what looked like 3 or more Subaru Imprezas/Mitsubishi Lancer EVOs getting a police escort down the M50 Soutbound around Cherrywood at about 5:45pm

I think them cars were part of that VRT scam - Customs siezed loads of high spec motors.

    Check this out -

If the evo's were white and had some markings on them they were siezed from Exclusive Cars in Saggart

I think that was the problem, Allegedly some VRT man was getting quite a few "bonuses".

They dont have to pay as they are not road legal, they are mainly for track use.

of corse rally cars are road legal they race on closed roads but use the public road to get to the next closed road to race again called a stage.

track cars are different they are brought on a traller and are never on the public road..

the cars ar already sized , when i was working the docks in the summer we watched the new gardi sqaud cars getting unloaded.

mainly 535d beemers but there where a couple of white lancers and such on board.

but that was earlyier.... it might also explain the 2 white evos around the back of pearse street gardi station everyday... also the lights you can see through the grills and the gardi stickers all over it kinda help :)

I saw the same convoy go southbound on the M50, "rally" cars had what looked like corporate writing (as opposed to normal logos) down the side, there was also a stretched hummer behind them, bet that was fun to drive!
