I've a similar problem with the radio - if lock it when it's on radio screen and control dies and I just have radio.

I jsut reset or don't use the lock when listening to the radio.

I haven't had this problem with mine for ages now but the odd time it does happen I just press the reset and it works away fine. It's a lot quicker than letting the battery run down. It's worthwhile keeping a straight pin on you in your wallet or whatever just in case it happens.

Thanks for that, I didn't want to press the reset button cause I thought it might delete the whole library and go back to the factory settings or something!!!! so you think its okay to do this do you???

It's fine. The reset will just restart the Zen. All your files are kept intact. For some reason it happened more often to mine when it was new but since the first month it's only happened a couple of times. Just reset and you're back in action.

Yep, as above folks have said. It occurs from time to time. Resetting does the trick and your library rebuilds. I find it freezes if you flick through songs quickly, so perhaps give the player a bit of time in this regard. I have vision m which I'm very happy with. The earlier creative players were a nightmare.

dont try fast fowarding stopping and then fast fowarding again will lock it up! Just giv it a bit of time! think of it of a really old pc and you cant ask it to do alot of things at once or your just asking for trouble
