    Heya folks

I played gaelic football when I was in school and then gave it up when I went to college. Would love to get back on a team to keep fit. I probably wudn't be good enough for a senior team so would be lookin towards junior. Does anyone know of a team in North dublin lookin for players on A Sat/Sun afternoon. I am from the Castleknock area. I think this should be advertised more openly so that players that are interested in gettin back into GAA have the opportunity.

    Cheers guys

Castleknock, Brigids, Peregrines, Plunketts are all around that general area. I'd definitely go for Castleknock aswell. From what I've heard, they seem to be a really vibrant young club. Here's their website anyway: http://www.castleknock.net/

I play junior football for st brigids. We have 6 adult teams in the club. There are 2 senior teams, 2 intermediate teams one of which was just promoted up from junior last year. As the top junior team was promoted it left us with just 2 junior teams. The junior teams play in divisions 9 and 12. The team in divison 9 is on the up, they have been promoted the last 3 years in a row. The divison 12 team has a mix of lads just out of minor and then some older lads who just want to keep playing football.

Its currenlty the off season, training will start about the 2nd week in january. The one big improvement in the club recently was the building of the new all weather pitch, meaning theres good training all year round no running around fields in the dark. Also its really good craic, some great people in the club.
