    Hi Guys!

I was offered a new CABERG Justissimo GT (http://www.caberg-helm.com/home.aspx?xL=e) for 200 quid. Does anyone have a good/bad feedback on the thing?
I'm a bit worried about possible leaks in heavy rain.

    Regards,
    Alex.

I was going to say they look nice until you mentioned leaks. I planned on buying one myself last year but I did a little reading and it turns out the seal around the visor is not the best and lets in water.

is it the problem of this particular model or general problem of all the helmets with flip fronts?

I've had mine almost a year and no leaks.

It's a pretty decent helmet and the internal sun visor is the business during both the summer months and for the winter early morning sun.

200 quid isn't a bad price, I got mine from here:
    http://www.thevisorshop.com/acatalog/Caberg.html

    for 149 UK pounds.

There's also a nice vent in the top of the helmet which you can slide open to let some air in / heat out.

The one slightly bad point is the angle of vision, if you've ever used a full face helmet there is slightly more visibility in the extreme right and left, but you wouldn't notice unless someone told you about it!

I've had a Caberg Justissimo for a while now and it has no leaks whatsoever. The sun visor is the business too.

The most important thing in a helmet is the fit. Don't ever buy any helmet just because you're offered it cheap. It has to fit you, every brand is different and every head is different. Once you find a brand (if you're lucky, a few brands - some brands have different shell shapes on different models) that fits you, then you can think about which one suits you best. E.g. Arais are very highly regarded but just don't fit me, Shoeis do.

In Cavan there was a great fire / Judge McCarthy was sent to inquire / It would be a shame / If the nuns were to blame / So it had to be caused by a wire.

I've had a justissimo for over a year as well and no leaks, and yes the visor is great. Have to throw it out cause it got a knock in my recent crash, but I'll be getting another gt to replace it next week.

I have one too and find it brilliant except that the slidy thing that moves the inner visor is after cracking so I have to push it back up :( Anybody know where to get replacement parts - its just one piece of plastic?

Just over a year and no leaks here either!!

Find it comfortable and useful, sun visor particularly handy, but probably a bit noisier on motorways compared to non-flip ups

    Have a look here

I'm thinking either of buying it off the chap who offered me one (I can ride to his place and try it on before buy) or get on off the web (only then I need to find out whoch one fits me). I'd never buy without trying it on first anyway ;-). The one offered is XL, my current (not of this brand) one is L and it makes me feel that this is could be a no go. Although, different brands have different sizes. Will see.

Thanks a lot guys for all the answers! It was very helpful.

You're definitely better off going into a shop and trying one on to get the size right, I think they have some caberg helmets in bikeworld and planet fun.

You can then get it off your mate or order one online.

Cotters sell them in that horrible gold which is why they are cheap

Apparently the Justissimo is the best selling helmet in the USA. Some great reviews online just do a search
