I know this has been asked before, but can anyone tell me where they might be showing this game in Dublin? I'll be in Dublin for the next three games and would really like to watch them somewhere.

    Thanks!

try the Woolshed on Parnell Street, used to show games there anyway, but not sure if they'll have that as it isn't on sky sports. might find it hard to get the Pats/Jets

Thanks. I will try that. Do you think the Hard Rock might be carrying it?

couldnt say to be honest, I'm out of Dublin a couple of years now and the main places we would have went would have been Woolshed (previously Outback) and Captain Americas on Dame st. Some other pubs would show the games on Sunday nights sky sports until closing too. Never even ventured to hard rock. Be worth giving a call I suppose. I'll be watching the game online, dont want to miss Brady "potentially" getting the TD record.

I know. I don't want to miss that either. I don't want to miss any of the rest of the regular season tbh. I'm a bit worried about the Miami game for some reason. Other than last Sunday, the Pats haven't really played that well the past few weeks.

What're the chances of Brady and Moss getting their records (or tying, at least)? I have both in my fantasy league. :D

Yeah, 14-0 plays 0-14. It would be great if Miami (of all teams) could knock them off. Half the NFL would die laughing. Hell, half of America.

Being a Pat's fan since the 1970s I can't say that I'd like to see that happen :p But it is a niggling fear at the back of my mind.

I've heard that a major winter storm(with a mix of snow and ice) is due in the New York area at the weekend, so it might not be ideal weather conditions for a high powered passing attack. It could be that they rush a bit more than normal, at least until they reach the red zone.

Which could mean that Brady and Moss don't score as highly in fantasy leagues this week.

That's true. They're saying that Boston is going to get a Nor'easter with snow, high wind and then a change to sleet and freezing rain. I had to move my flight to Dublin from Sunday to Saturday.

But the Pats are use to playing in that kind of weather. So are the Jets. And now that the Pats have replaced the turf on the field there shouldn't be a problem with mud. Visibility could be an issue as could the wind.

Am I correct in saying that Brady has never lost a game where the temp was 0 or below

Not likely to be an exciting game if the weather proves atrocious.

Dude, if you can't get anywhere, we'll be watching it over here in my gaff on p2p (fingers crossed).
PM me if you are stuck.

Thanks for the invite! I'll keep that in mind :)

It looks like the storm tomorrow is going to be rain at Gilette Stadium.

The Patriots were FORCED to replace the field, as the rest of the league was highly upset about their stadium.

"Still too much Moss in the endzone!" they cried.

Enjoy it - clearly they are peaking too soon ;)

Felt the Jets were hard done by in their last touch-down play, but what do I know...

Oh well I was watching in work on-line without sound, so I'm probably way-off. But it looked as though the Jets guy caught in the end zone and then ran out of bounds (about 3 mins left). But I thought this was ok?
Actually what I should have asked was "why wasn't it a TD?" rather than presume they were robbed.

Didnt have full control of the ball with both feet inbounds. Clear as day the clown before catching the ball changed his lead foot to turn his body giving him less time to control the ball inbounds.

Understood. No TD passes from Brady - I've a feeling he's gonna fall short of the record.

Still hoping he'll do it, with Miami in Foxboro next week it could still happen. I think the Giants have tied up a playoff spot as well so they may not be at full speed the following week.

Oh, they may set a record or two, but I think that The Spartan Phalanx marching unbeaten to the end of the season is more important to them.

Got to see the game in St. John's Newfoundland! Our flight was diverted there for an emergency landing due to a cracked windscreen. Didn't get to Dublin until Monday morning!!

Highest density of pubs per metre in North America, or so they claim. Spent 18 days there in 2001 at the time of 9/11. They have Irish accents, too!

Anyway, Pats to go down to Miami (not down on Miami :D).

Small world :D Did he make the match? Pretty much all there was to do in St. John's was drink!! I thought it was really funny that the majority of bars were irish pubs!!

Patriots at home in the cold cold air of New England against warm climatised Dolphins who are 1-13. Patriots win for sure might not be the easiest of wins but you got to fancy Tom Brady on home soil in freezing temperatures over a terrible Dolphins team. Come on people lets be real here I dont think this will be a fairy tale weekend for the dolphins and their fans. If Im wrong I will eat my Pats hat :D:D
