    Hi.
I want to but from a seller in Hong Kong.
If i bought the item today is it likely i'd get it before Christmas?
I know the last post from Ireland to such a destination would be around now but what about a packet coming from Hong Kong.
Where could i get such info.
I've contacted the seller but no response yet.

Also same question for something from the UK.
Surely if i bought something from a UK seller today i'd get it before Christmas , wouldn't I?
    Any help much appreciated.
    Thanks.

Hong Kong - most likely not.

UK, there's a good chance that would get here before xmas. Depends on how it's shipped.

well - i'll tell yer this...i ordered from ebay, a game for Nintendo DS and made my paypal payment on friday 30th November. It was posted on Sunday 2nd and i had a note from my postman sayign to collect it in my local Post Office on Monday 10th.

as we get closer to christmas, obv, it'll get trickier, but the source of the package was HongKong as well...there's no guarantees, but how much have you paid as postage. I was charged around €6 which was a lot, but obv i wanted it before xmas

I ordered something small on eBay from HK back in November and it took 3 weeks and 1 day to arrive. I'd say you really haven't a hope of anything posted now arriving before Christmas, less than 2 weeks away.

I'm now waiting on a helicopter to arrive, been 2 weeks already so hopefully it'll arrive by the end of this week or some time next week.

UK should be OK if ordered yesterday though shouldn't it.

UK should be fine, US maybe. It normally takes at least a week from the US, at this time of year I'd allow for a few extra days so might be OK as you have 1 week and 2 days left.
