If there is a more appropriate thread for this please go ahead and move it. Im wondering is anyone using a VUDU box here in Ireland. I know it says that it is only available in the US but Im hoping that might just mean they will only deliver there. Id love to get one of these puppies and my missus is stuck for what to buy me for the crimbo so any feedband appreciated!

Looks good and by the looks of thing the only worry would be a fast internet connection with no cap.
    EDIT
Had a look when you go to buy the Vudu it states: AVAILABLE IN
    THE U.S. ONLY

The speed test I did says my connection is ok for it. My only worry is if they perform some IP filtering or some such. Or also with iTunes I cant buy stuff from the American store unless I have an American credit card, this box would be fairly useless to me if I ended up not being able to get any content!

    know nothing about it..
but it's easy for them to provide no access to content outside of the US.

whatever deals they've done (if any) with the movie companies might have a US only restriction...
