Does anyone remember Visa Versa sweets? They were a bit like minsterals but half of them had white shell with milk chocolate on the inside and the other half had dark shell with white choclate on the inside
Anyone know who made them and if they still sell them anywhere?? :p

Ohhh also do they still sell Fun Yum crisps? they were a type of onion rings a blue packet with cartoon onions of the front?? :D

Why did Cadbury's stop making the Wispa Mint? Sometimes, people just make stupid decisions :(.

It was thanks to Vice Versas that I learned what the expression "vice versa" meant. I think I was about 9 or 10. They were lovely!

isn't australian chocolate not as nice anyway because they have to put some sort of wax in it so it won't melt? So it would taste a bit different to the Top Deck you get over here anyway.......

They are lovely. They have some lovely "triple decks" there too. With different flavours as the third deck. Dark Chocolate, Strawberry are the ones I can remember.

What part of Sydney are you living in btw? Great City.

Lovely. There's a Mongolian BBQ restaurant at one end of the Pyrmont Bridge, which does a great all-you-can-eat. Get over there some day, lovely place.

I'll keep a eye out for that place. I've been looking for somewhere new to dine lately. Almost tempted to have a wander up right now in fact as I havent had dinner yet...

It's fair expensive, but the view is amazing. It can be a bit disconcerting at first, as the restaurant spins around so you can see the whole city.

DesF's Handy Tip Of The Day:

If you go with a lady, don't let her leave her handbag on the window ledge. The window ledge doesn't move, just the floor where the tables and chairs are, and the bag will end up on the far side of the restaurant by the time you even notice it's gone :D

Don't give him the credit! I told him where it was last night as he very nicely gave me a lift home form the pub. He just made it all fancy by googling a map!

My OH is originally from South Africa. He went mad in there one day buying biltong. Our cupboards stank for weeks!

    I do apologise watna. :)

I thought he was a Kiwi.

Anyway, that Biltong stuff looks disgusting.

    I'd still try it though.

    Apology accepted!

He's originally from SA. Emigrated to NZ when he was 16. It's all very exotic really. I feel very boring in comparison!

Def take a look in the SA shop, they have some cool stuff.

    I will.

This thread here, this one, is one example of why I love Boards.

The fella in Sydney who has some new places to go and get some food. Some new chocolate bars to eat.

And me, I didn't even know there was a SA shop in Dublin, now I'll be checking it out in the near future.

I love you Boards.ie. Happy Christmas!

If that map is accurate, then unfortunately it's gone. It's an Asian food store now. I believe it only changed over in the past few weeks. (I'll have another look this evening to make absolutely certain.)

Damn it. I was looking forward to checking out some biltong there.

On the upside I've a mate coming back from Cape Town in a few days... :D
