I heard that myself. Either way, Im delighted to have some much needed cash flow before Christmas! Again, just wondering if anybody has previous experience or are indeed working with An Post at present. Cheers.

Did it years ago ! ****e work standing at a sorting line all day, but the money was pretty good. Be prepared to do all the donkey work and it will be fairly mindnumbing but as I said the money was worth it !

Got called one year but received a better offer before I could take up the job. A friend of mine did it, she worked lots of night shifts, but made some great money.

Did the sorting office in D12, grand. 6 nights a week, off Saturday night, Sunday morning (that doesn't seem to make sense, but it does). Pay is grand, and if you play your cards right, you'll fit in with the "good" crowd, who all take the piss (as opposed to the some of the dull/kill-me-now crowd). The boys & girls there that aren't xmas staff are a good laugh, once you work hard, they'll give you the fun jobs. Take the piss (as in, in front of the boss people, or doing something stupid against health and safety), and you'll be told not to come back next day. If you're sick, call in sick, or they'll ring you next day, and tell you to f**k off. They did this to a few of the lads who didn't come in one night. Next night, they were told to f**k off.
