Heard about this ages ago but out on Dec 12th now. Looks half decent. Heres the review on Digg Looks like it streams directly over your LAN so no waiting for it to upload to the net before dowloading to your Wii.

EDIT: Could be wrong about the streaming.

Looks cool, it doesn't say there but do you know is it installed as a channel on your Wii or is it a CD you slot in and need in whenever you're using the software on the Wii?

They didn't even test it on a wii for that review, it was all done on the local PC

Every media players for the wii that I've come across uses the Internet channel to access the media, I can't be sure but I'd imagine this one is the same. I've tested a few of them and they work well enough, I'd still prefer a dedicated media channel though.

Well, he actually did test it using the Wii. Check out what he says from here

"Basically just type in a local address (your pc ip) and your away…. brought it up no problems, entered my pin…. and I was away.. tried out a few albums awesome… sound was clear.. there was the odd glitch but nothing it couldnt handle.

Same went for the video files, I am still testing out the video files (different types) so may add more to this review

The Web TV / Radio ran like a dream, apart from sometimes it being a little glitchy to begin with, but i put that down to net speed."

I assume when he mentions to type in your PC IP address you do it in the Wii Web Browser?

I like the fact it plays DivX and WMA, coz most of my files are in this format.
